Friends only for personal posts...

All my personal posts are locked these days for reasons of privacy. Those that aren't tend to be links to the fic, which can all be found over at [livejournal.com profile] gilpins_tales where you can lurk, read or friend, as you wish. I'll usually be happy to return friend here if we know each other from somewhere or our LJ paths/interests keep crossing, but please do comment here first and say hi to introduce yourself. :) Also, be warned: I seem to be an occasional poster these days, though I keep working on this...

Poor Lisa. I'm not surprised she had a hard time of it because she is so tiny. All my friends have children in their teens so I've been very excited to know someone with a baby again (especially as it's no longer me!). I used to have a business making baby and toddler clothes so I'm making a couple of my favourite baby boy outfits for Liam.

P.S. I have read your stories but have never reviewed - which is very remiss of me as they are so good. I particularly like the ones you wrote from Ron's point of view. I think your version post-hospital wing scene is the best one I've read.

Ooh, I'm sure she'll be thrilled with the outfits - what a lovely gift. Her husband has put some photos on Facebook and Lisa looks very well and very, very happy (and glamorous!). Liam is lovely and there's some beautiful pictures of him asleep with a little knitted hat on his head. Hopefully, we'll get some here soon.

Most of my RL friends have children either nearing or in their teens as well, so it is nice to see a baby again, lol. How did you get to know Lisa, if you don't mind me asking? Through the HP fandom?

And thank you for the very kind words about my stories. I love writing R/T from another narrator's POV: not only do you get a different pair of eyes interpreting events and them, but you also get chance to make your favourite characters the narrator. Ron is wonderful to write - he's dug me out of a few plot holes by getting completely the wrong end of the stick!
