Ugh, been there, done that. My last semseter, and I'd just gotten married, was 18th century British novels, 17th century British poetry, Malory, Creative Writing, and Writing for the Popular Market, and I nearly died...
When I took Shakespeare, I checked out taped stage versions from the library, and it helped with the reading...Though my absolute favorite had to be Anthony Hopkins as Othello. Somehow the racial imagery just didn't quite transcend the casting. Hee
