If anyone fancies a Friday afternoon/evening fic to read, I happen to have one handy. I can honestly say it's taken me months to write this, in between decorators, holidays, bad shoulders and procrastination, and if I take as long with my Meta one there may be trouble ahead...

Title: Under Cover of Darkness
Characters: Charlie, Tonks, Remus

Summary: Tonks was shaking her head. “I think one day someone will come along and I’ll – I’ll be so bowled over from lack of practice and by him, that my only chance of surviving it all is if he’s the same.”
Author’s Notes: I seem to have been writing this for about two months on and off, mostly off. It was inspired by the lovely hrymfaxe and her request for a fic about Charlie and the prompt ‘eclipse’. This was intended to be much shorter and a less angsty, rather different story, but the characters seemed to have ideas of their own and… I let them have their way. Hopefully, I shouldn’t have stuck with Plan A. ;)

If you don't fancy that, I can offer a filmstar meme I've nabbed from enomis57. I'm not too sure about this as I couldn't make up my mind between two answers, and now I'm thinking I should have gone for the other one as I sound so much fun! Still, the pet peeves made me laugh as did the fact that it's quite true, I really wouldn't like a bulldozer to come on to me. But would anyone?!

I'm really impressed with this. Especially with those two forming the band, though I had no idea ladybracknell was a pipe smoker... ;) Oh, and I pinched it from bratty_jedi, because it looked like fun.





It was obviously asking for trouble mentioning the Round Robin letters as, apart from one, they've all been entertaining but swank-free. A lot of interest, though, was generated when one couple proudly told us how well their "body-boarding" was going this year. We spent two days thinking this was possibly slightly too much info about their sex life, before I remembered that the previous year they'd been obsessed by surfing... We're going for that version of events.

I've almost finished my Advent Fic, and those are words I doubted I'd ever type at times. So I've started reading everyone else's now and writing very belated reviews, for which I'm sorry. But Christmas is clamouring for my attention this weekend - so many presents and so much wrapping to do. Still these are a few of my favourite things... ;)

Nicked from joely_jo because I'm having a moment's worried consideration about whether I can really do such a thing to Tonks in the Jumble Fic. Still I'm sure she'll think it's worthwhile if she ends up on Remus, on a chair, in the apothecary, enjoying a Day of Satisfaction. (Sounds more like Cluedo;)) Also my husband's just come home and told me my hair colour does look different - it's shinier! Obviously I was going around like Snape before and nobody told me...



Is it me or are her arms very long and skinny?
