He definitely had mussed up Neil Gaiman hair from start to finish - two very bemused but working-out-what's-up-with-the-mad-woman eyes peering at her through it! Also just pyjama bottoms on, which I did think about mentioning before this hit the 11,000 word mark, but I'm sure you don't need all this background info!
