I just ran Mum's birthday through, to see if we really have managed that world-wide recognition thingy, and whilst it didn't mention technical genius, the second I pressed the button, she Skyped me - which is something she'd getting far too good at and now does about 3 times a day.

Just to prove how incredibly accurate this is, I had to look 'Skyped' up, as I was concerned exactly what your Mum was doing to you 3 times a day. So possibly I haven't got my LJ User Certificate yet. ;)

Meh, this birthday test was REALLY far off for me - it said I was hardworking and that I always get the job done...*laughs hysterically*...

Oh, that's good stuff. I proved just how far off the results were by spending the next half-hour taking various personality tests, including "which mixed drink are you" (Bloody Mary) and "what kind of cookie are you" (Jam-filled) instead of a)taking care of my kids, b)making coffee and c)writing more for Contact. I really need to go back and make sure what I wrote at 3 this morning actually makes sense in the light of day.

Stop it! You've made me want to do more, and I've now learnt my German name is Konstanze Monika, and my famous last words will be 'Nice doggy.' Obviously, I'm going to be seeing Sirius running towards me... ;)

MUST go and do something constructive like a pile of ironing!

C'mon, fess up, I bet you drive a tan van with a bumper sticker that says "Easy as Pi," and wear a pocket protector. Every July, you hide out in your secret laboratory and watch the film "I, Robot" for hours, frantically scribbling detailed notes, muttering about illogical plot points. ;)

I'm detecting envy now, Goldilocks... If you want to borrow my seventeen pages of notes on plot holes, and things that don't compute in "I, Robot", you only have to ask. Of course, I still don't sleep well after the travesty that was R2-D2 and C-3PO in "Star Wars." ;)
