Hope you're having a wonderful day and being thoroughly spoilt. The Rookie would always accompany me to a desert island as one of my favourite ever fics and all the best with your original writing this year. May those dreams come true!:D

And talking of islands, looking forward to seeing your thoughts on Lost? They don't seem to be in any hurry to start showing it here again, which I'm not happy about...

Have you seen the latest LOST? I heard things that made my Shayid shipper heart break into a million pieces.

Not since they restarted after the strike. Though I did see a pretty big spoiler for it on some of our entertainment pages here and thought it was a Ben-centric episode?

There's another Jane Austen on the BBC tonight you might like to download. Miss Austen Regrets (http://missaustenregrets.com/) We're taping it so I can't advise on any good-looking men just yet, lol.

It's a Ben-centric episode that revealed some stuff about Sayid's future. That's silly they haven't shown y'all new episodes since the strike!

Miss Austen Regrets actually came on here a while back and I forgot to watch it, but Mr. Tater's downloading it for me now! I think it's supposed to be more realistic than Becoming Jane - but didn't everyone just see Becoming Jane for James McAvoy and not really care about the Jane Austen part??

I watched it when it was aired here. It was pretty good, and did seem more realistic than Becoming Jane. But, like that film, it was depressing to see the difficult lot of women in that time period. I wouldn't watch it again, but it's worth watching once.

I've learnt that incessant moaning works as have just seen a trailer for Lost, which is back on May 4th. Nice clip of Sayid looking angst-ridden as he realises JKR has been put in touch of his storyline.

Still haven't seen Miss Austen Regrets yet, but our paper gave it a good review. It's definitely true that Becoming Jane was all about James and the Bill Weasley lookalike, lol.

Now, what else can I moan about and get fixed? Er, I never win the lottery?!

Yes, poor girl. It seems that after escaping the island, Sayid was pretty quick to forget his ill-fated island fling. :( And they keep heaping tragedy on that poor man. So sad.

Thanks so much, my dear. I had a lovely day, and the highlight was my seven-year-old making me breakfast in bed all on her own. She buttered a slice of bread, put it on a plate with a chocolate chip cookie, and brought it up to me with a broad grin on her face. It was one of those awesome mommy moments. :)

I've been meaning to post on the new LOST and new Battlestar Galactica, but my husband was out of town at a business conference until late Saturday night, so I didn't have much free time. Hopefully I'll get to it later today.

It's sad you're not getting the new ones yet. :( A month-long break was more than enough for me.
