Fic Posting & Twilight

Just to say what you probably already know, that the awesome mrstater, graphic manipulator extraordinaire, and myself have posted the first part of our joint letter-writing fic Between the Lines, which you can find either at her LJ, or here at mine. Yes, there's really no escape from it, however hard you try. ;)

Sign-ups are underway at metamorfic_moon for The Beatles and The Bard Timeless Moon Ball, and it's wonderful how many of you have done so already. The two people who've got the lyrics/quotes I really hoped for will be receiving bribes in due course, lol.

And for those on my f-list who are Brits and Twilight fans, there's a two page article in today's Times newspaper supplement about the books, the film, Stephenie Meyer and some comparisons with JKR. :) I'm very taken with the fact that she works on a marble desk and thinking of changing mine to see if it speeds me up!

True. I still haven't re-read DH. Only read it once, I just can't seem to pick it up after I know that she killed them off. *sigh*

You should read them. They aren't great in terms of grammar and structure, but its a great story. I really do love that she has been involved with the movie so much ... I wish Jo would have done that for HP. Yet again, she had books to write, so I don't blame her. XD

I'm sure I'll get round to reading them at some point - so many people have raved about them that I'll have to have a look. But I'm probably keener on seeing the film, to be honest, as reading about teenage relationships doesn't appeal that much; I wasn't very enamoured with them in HP, which really means I must be "Too old..." etc. ;)

I sometimes wonder if JKR grinds her teeth throughout the films when she finally sees them... LOL
